How to get to Troncones
By air:
The Ixtapa Zihuatanejo International Airport (ZIH) is the closest gateway to Troncones, located 42 kilometers away. From the airport, you can take a taxi, private transfer service, or rent a car and drive along Federal Highway 200 for about 35 minutes.
By Car:
If you are coming from Mexico City to Troncones by car, you will need to take Federal Highway 200 north. From Zihuatanejo, it is 33 kilometers, about 30 minutes driving at a moderate pace. The signage along the highway makes it easy to get there. Be very careful when exiting the highway to enter Troncones.
If you are coming from the Siglo XXI highway (Morelia), after exiting the “Feliciano” toll booth, take Federal Highway 200 and drive for 48 kilometers. There is a gas station at the entrance, and you will be at the beach in a few minutes.
Transportation Services:
