Aguas Abiertas Ixtapa 2024
April 6 & 7, 2024Ixta Zihua Open Waters is an open water swimming competition held in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, Mexico. It is an event that takes place on the beaches of Ixtapa, promoting health, encouraging the development of discipline, and fostering social and family integration through sports.
The 2024 edition of the event will take place on April 26th and 27th at El Palmar Beach. Participants in the competition will include swimmers from public and private aquatic centers, sports clubs, and independent swimmers, including individuals with disabilities.
The competition consists of the following distances:
- Freestyle: 400 and 750 meters, and 1, 2, 3, and 5 kilometers.
- With Fins: With fins 1 and 3 kilometers.
