June 8 & 9, 2024The AsTri Ixtapa Zihuatanejo is one of the longest-running sporting events in the country. It was first held in 1987, and since then this triathlon in Ixtapa has brought together lovers of this demanding discipline.
The Ixtapa Triathlon 2024 promotes sport, health, and endurance. This elite event will feature 87 high-level triathletes from five countries, who will compete for the Ixtapa Zihuatanejo Continental Triathlon Cup.
Their performance will award points for the ranking of the American Triathlon Confederation (CAMTRI) and the International Triathlon Union (ITU), crucial steps on the road to the Olympic Games.
In addition to the elite category, the AsTri Ixtapa Zihuatanejo offers different distances so that athletes of all levels can participate.
